Year to Year Detached Home Sales

  • Detached home sales moved up 8.6 percent  in December 2014 compared to December 2013; 264 units versus 243 units.

 

Month to Month Detached Home Sales

  • Detached home sales in December 2014 grew by three units or 1.1 percent compared to November 2014; 264 units versus 261 units.

 

Detached Home Inventory Trends

  • The year to year inventory of detached homes for sale in December 2014 dropped by 8.1 percent compared to December 2013; 750 units versus 816 units.
  • The month to month inventory of detached homes for sale in December 2014 fell 19.6 percent compared to November 2014; 750 units versus 937 units.

 

Year to Year Condominium and Townhome Sales

  • Condominium and townhome sales improved  28.2 percent in December 2014 compared to December 2013; 109 units versus 85 units.

 

Month to Month Condominium and Townhome Sales

  • Condominium and townhome sales grew by 1 unit or .9 percent in December 2014 compared to November 2014; 109 units versus 108 units.

 

Condominium and Townhome Inventory Trends

  • The year to year inventory of condominiums and townhomes for sale fell 15.5 percent in December 2014 compared to December 2013; 174 units versus 206 units.
  • The month to month inventory of condominiums and townhomes for sale in December 2014 dropped 26.9 percent compared to November 2014; 174 units versus 238 units.

 

4th Quarter 2014 Detached Home Sales

  • Detached home sales in 4th Quarter 2014 was virtually unchanged (down .035 percent) compared to the 4th Quarter 2013; 841 units versus 844 units.
  • Detached home sales in the 4th Quarter 2014 fell 33.5 percent from the 3rd Quarter 2014; 841 units versus 1265 units.

 

4th Quarter 2014 Condominium and Townhome Sales

  • Condominium and townhome sales in the 4thQuarter of 2014 improved 30.1 percent compared to the 4th Quarter 2013; 350 units compared to 269 units.
  • Condominium and townhomes sales in the 4th Quarter 2014 dropped 25.7 percent compared to the 3rd Quarter 2014; 350 units versus 471.

                -Year over year sales of single family homes and condominium and townhomes saw solid improvement in December 2014 compared to December 2013; 8.6% and 28.2% respectively.

                -Month over month sales of single family homes and condominiums and townhomes saw little improvement in December 2014 compared to November 2014; 1.1% and .9% respectively.

                -4th Quarter 2014 sales of single family homes and condominiums and townhomes differed dramatically when compared to the 4th Quarter 2014; <.035>% and 30.1% respectively.

                -4th Quarter sales of single family homes and condominiums and townhomes saw double digit declines when compared to the 3rd Quarter of 2014; <33.5>% and <25.7>% respectively.

                -The inventory of single family homes for sale fell year over year and month over month in December 2014; <8.1>% and <19.6>% respectively.

                -The inventory of condominiums and townhomes for sale fell year over year and month over month in December 2014; <15.5>% and <26.9>% respectively.
